His heyday was the «Trapattoni Decade» from 1976 to 1986 in Turin. He won six national titles with «Juve», two Italian knock-out cups, all three European titles and the Intercontinental Cup. Trapattoni is highly respected both on and off the pitch as a true gentleman. He is quite simply the «the greatest trainer» in Europe, as Italian's former national team coach Arrigo Sacchi put it. In Germany he has been a cult figure as former FC Bayern Munich trainer ever since his legendary press conference in March 2001. Even in Italy this great moment in sport is shown again and again with the «Maestro» in «molto vivace».
